AMA Loretta Lynn Area Qualifier Information   

Practice May 19, 2017 and May 20-21, 2017 Racing at Sweetwater Events Complex

Rock Springs Motocross Association is proud to announce they will be hosting a Loretta Lynn Qualifying race this spring.  Please note that all riders are invited to participate in the race and riders are not required to sign up for the Loretta Lynn Qualifier.  This year we will offer Beginner classes.

Fees and registration 

Friday Practice      $25


Gate band              Weekend       $20

                                Children 5 and under Free


                                No gate/spectator fees Thursday and Friday


Race fees               $40 per class


AMA Membership  Get yours ahead of time here 


Day cards will also be available at the event for $20.


MX Sports fee for Loretta Lynn Qualifier participants $10.

Notes: Gates close nightly from Midnight to 6 a.m.

Please plan accordingly.

General Information

RIDER REGISTRATION: All riders must properly register before entering the track. All riders must personally be present for rider registration. Minors must accompany their parent or guardian to registration.


REFUNDS: No refunds once practice has begun.


PIT RIDING: Pit riding is limited to 5 mph speed limit in the Pits. No spectator riding.


PETS:  All pets must be on a leash.  No vicious or barking pets permitted.


TICKETS:  Your arm band is your weekend pass and must be worn at all times. If you leave the facility, you must have it on in order to re-enter. This is your gate ticket. Do not take it off.


GARBAGE:  Please use our trash receptacles. If you need trash bags, you can get them from the front gate.


ACCIDENTS: Report all accidents to Rider Registration.


SPECIAL NEEDS:  If you need handicapped parking accommodations or have other special needs, let us know when you arrive and we will do our best to accommodate you.


MEDICAL INSURANCE: We do not have Rider Medical Insurance, and urge you not to race without it. Riders are responsible for their own medical insurance. Rider medical insurance is available through the AMA’s RAMP Program at (800)-556-7614 or visit www.insurance4ama.com.


PROHIBITED ITEMS:  No fireworks, firearms, weapons, illegal substances, glass containers or any other items that may pose a safety hazard to our guests or competitors are permitted.


SEARCH POLICY:  All persons, vehicles and their contents are subject to search at any time.  If any fireworks or other prohibited items are found, you may remove them from the property yourself, or we will dispose of them for you. We are not responsible for the safe return of any confiscated items.


GUEST CONDUCT: Motocross racing is a family sport. We will not tolerate offensive or inappropriate conduct and reserve the right to remove anyone from the premises. Riders are responsible for the conduct of their crew members, family and friends.


BANNERS:DO NOT take the banners or signage.  Violators will be prosecuted for theft and trespassing.


PARKING: We will park you as you arrive, in the next available space, in the area of your choice. You may not save spots for persons arriving later. If you want to camp with someone, please meet them off-site and arrive together. Camping spaces are no wider than 20’. Spots will be marked.  No campsites, tents or awnings are permitted within 20’ of the motocross track fence. 


CAMPFIRES: No campfires please. Due to the large amount of guests and racing rigs, we cannot permit fires of any kind.


QUIET TIME:Quiet time is 10:00 pm nightly.  All loud noise, including loud generators, must be turned off at this time. Our racers need their rest!
